Hey hey hey!
An amazing cousin … uncle?
So, I have this amazing cousin (well, uncle, but I thought he was my cousin for a really long time, so he just is) named David Martinelli who designs for a living. T-shirts, websites, and, now, album layouts. With his AMAZING eye and instincts, and very high tolerance for my nit-picky suggestions, he helped me create my album layout, and it is beautiful. The album (titled “Tell Tell Tell”) is prepped and ready for print. Get ready guys, because Julianna (that is me) is going to release her first album. WOOOOHOOO!
Stay plugged-in for updates and important details.

Update Shmupdate
Recently, my lovely brother Aaron moved out of the house to go live solo, and since then we have not only lost a daily member in our household, but we have also lost…the home computer which he bought while in high school. Yes, this means, no computer for whats going to be a couple weeks now. You might be asking “then how are you typing this?” or probably “how are you surviving?”, well, my mother has a laptop which is available to use between 6pm and 6am, and to the later question, food and water.
So, with that and the loads of work that come with AP classes, I have been spending my spare time sleeping (which is something we all need, so make sure, all of you highschoolers and working men and women, to get sleep, because the DVR can wait) and not BLOGGING! But, I’m back.
I have started my first sport ever (since I used to go to an all arts school), and have been attending my first ever conditioning sessions (or close-to-death sessions) and I have since acquired mad respect for those who do this all the time. Good job to you.
Final album layout should arrive tonight on mah e-mail. Yay! Yay! I am enjoying life, and I hope you are too.
To close, I have a joke:
There is a pirate captain out at sea, and while he is out on the deck, his shipmate who is up in the watch tower at the top of the masts yells out “one enemy ship approaching!”. The captain being very courageous, a noble leader, yells back “quick! get me my red shirt, so when I am injured, my crew will not see me bleeding and will fight on.” So the shipmate does what he is told, and the pirates fight the enemy ship off. The next day, the shipmate in the watch tower yells to the captain ”ten enemy ships approaching!”. So, the captain yells back “quick! get me my brown pants!”
Have a wonderful Friday,

Happy New Year to you. And you.
Happy New Year to you. And you. Above is a picture that my aunt took of my mom, sister, and I in front of our tree (which is still up, I guess we just can’t let go of Christmas) during which my sister was pulling up on my very stylish British crown from our British Crackers bought in the British section at World Market. My siblings and I thought that they would actually crack (with sound), but they didn’t. Instead, they ripped open and out flew, in mine anyways, a crown, a set of horribly confusing jokes (that type of smart humor that requires you to be familiar with an encyclopedia to understand), and a set of cardboard dominoes. It was pretty not-awesome…except for the crown part.
Development! I have received the final layout of my album, and might I say it looks fabulous. We are finishing the remaster of the master, I am preparing the details for an album release party (will let you know when those come together), and trying to balance with that the wonderful school-life of a Junior.
Wish me luck and safe travels as my endeavor to play an open-mic once a week continues.
Will keep you updated.

Love Me and Leave Me
So, my father is new to the camera (the one discussed below that we got for Christmas) and couldn’t find the record button, BUT, you can still catch here the second half of my song Love Me and Leave Me performed at the Coffee Garden with my sister Rebekah singing harmony. Think of it as a preview to the real thing… haha!
The Coffee Garden
I played at The Coffee Garden last night (shown above in its very adorable after-Christmas attire) at their very popular Thursday open mic. It was my first open mic ever, just 15 artists in a room together playing music and reciting poetry, which was kind of a shock. (I was nervous regardless) ALSO, my sister Rebekah sang one of my newer songs, Love Me and Leave Me with me, which made my night.
Any of you who are looking to test out your poetry, music, trombone skills, or comedy, I suggest you do one of these. It is definitely rewarding.
Technology has finally entered my life…
A couple days before Christmas, my parents had us three kids open our first present of the season, and probably our best present of the season. It was a very nice replacement to our recently misplaced camera. So, who cares, right? I care, that’s who. Without a camera, my self-produced publicity for all of my shows, my days in the studio, and my newly written songs have been couped up in my camera-less life without any means of escape. But, with this new camera which can record video’s and take very agreeable pictures, all of that musical news which has been trapped can be set free on this very blog page which I have created for all of you who are reading.
So, without further a due, the future of my music, juliannasmusic.tumblr.com.
AT LAST!
